Reverend Sue Woods has been at Port Carling and Bala United churches since 2007. Rev. Sue studied at Mount Alison University, University of New Brunswick, and Atlantic School of Theology where she earned her Bachelor of Education and her Master of Divinity. Rev. Sue worked for two years as a teacher on a mission ship traveling around Asia and then to Papa New Guinea for three years. She began her ministry in rural churches in Saskatchewan before moving to Bracebridge United Church and then to Port Carling United Church.
Rev. Sue brings her ability to make a lasting impression with visitors and church members. She provides a relevant and relatable message during her Sunday reflection. Rev. Sue is passionate about making connections to provide comfort and caring to all she meets. It could be a young child, an LBGTQ youth or new community member, Rev. Sue can relate.
Rev. Sue and her wife Lou are the proud moms to Keeley and Isla their loving golden retrievers.
